The North Cobb Regional Library, 3535 Old 41 Highway in Kennesaw, features the art exhibit, “Our Eyes are Wide Open,” sponsored by the South Cobb Arts Alliance and African Americans for the Arts, until Feb. 26. The exhibit will feature pieces by local artists displayed in the lobby, children’s department and public computer areas of the library. The Sewell Mill Library & Cultural Center, 2051 Lower Roswell Road in Marietta, features the “Who We Are” exhibit now through Feb. 24. Curated by Courtney Brooks, it features the art style of Afrofuturism and exploring the intersection of imagination and liberation. It will have the work of over 30 local artists. The East Cobb Library, 4880 Lower Roswell Road in Marietta, features an African American Historical Figures Tween/Teen Scavenger Hunt throughout February. Participants, ages 10 and older, can visit the Teen Zone and try to locate all 10 flyers highlighting legendary African American leaders and achievers hidden throughout the library.

The Cobb Galleria Centre, 2 Galleria Parkway, features the Atlanta Black Expo on Feb. 10. The expo features various Black-owned businesses for Black History Month. It will include product and service based exhibitors, speakers, shopping, food and drinks, demonstrations, family activities, networking, music, art, kids, business expo, workshops and prizes.
