CLAYTON COUNTY — Do not let the cool weather keep you from getting outdoors this fall.
Clayton County offers numerous parks for the community to enjoy year-round.
For leaf viewers, the Clayton County Parks and Recreation Department offers some of the best places to experience mother nature’s evolving canvas of color.
Stephen Berens, Deputy Administrator of Greenspace, suggests the following four locations to view leaves this fall:
— Reynolds Nature Preserve, 5665 Reynolds Road, Morrow.
— Clayton County International Park, 2300 Georgia Highway 138 SE, Jonesboro.
— River’s Edge Greenway, 40 Southern Ct., Fayetteville.
— Jesters Creek Trail, 844 Jesters Lake Drive, Jonesboro.
Berens estimates Clayton County’s peak seasonal color will be late October through mid-November.
