JONESBORO — To help make sure Craigslist, Offer-Up, Facebook Market Place and other online shopping and second-hand sales are done safely, the Clayton County Police Department has set up “Safe Exhange Zones.”
The safe zones are at CCPD Headquarters and at all four precincts throughout the county.
The zones are marked with black and white signs near their respective CCPD building in well-lit places monitored by video surveillance
CCPD Headquarters: 7911 N. McDonough St., Jonesboro.
Sector 1 Precinct: 3161 Anvil Block Road, Ellenwood.
Sector 2 Precinct: 6335 Riverdale Road, Riverdale.
Sector 3 Precinct: 1841 McDonough Road, Hampton.
Sector 4 Precinct: 747 North Ave., Jonesboro.
