MACON — A fatal traffic collision occurred late Tuesday night on Houston Road near Hawkinsville Road, resulting in the death of 32-year-old Terry Lynn Crump of Macon. According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place just after 11:30 p.m. when a southbound Nissan Sentra, driven by a 29-year-old Macon man, struck Crump, who was standing in the roadway. Crump was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Leon Jones. The driver of the vehicle was treated on-site and released. No other injuries were reported during the incident.
