- A police officer responded to a shots fired call at Ponderosa Trailer Park on Corbett Street in East Dublin and was reportedly shot by a resident of the trailer park.
- The officer returned fire and both the officer and the shooter sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
- The suspect, David Jermaine Fountain, has been taken into custody with arrest warrants for charges of aggravated assault on a peace officer and aggravated assault.
- The GBI will conduct an investigation and present their findings to the Dublin Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office for review.
