MORROW — The Clayton County Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its annual Yule Log Celebration Friday, Dec. 1 from 7 to 9 p.m.
The event will be held at the Reynolds Nature Preserve, 5665 Reynolds Road, Morrow.
Parking will be at Morrow Elementary School, 6115 Reynolds Road, Morrow. Shuttles will be provided.
The event will include a bonfire, storytelling, music, and refreshments.
To keep it green, the Parks and Recreations is asking you bring your own mug for cocoa to be entered into a prize drawing.
The event is free and family-friendly.

— Christmas at Clayton State is Thursday, Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Spivey Hall. The event features the Clayton State University Chorale, the Clayton State University Orchestra, and the Spivey Hall Masterworks Chorus. Admission is free.
— The city of Jonesboro’s Merry Mistletoe Market is Dec. 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lee Street Park.
There will be a tree lighting, pictures with Santa from 6 to 8 p.m., musical fireworks show, arts and crafts, and food trucks.
— Christmas in the Park is Dec. 2 from 4 p.m. at The District, 1065 Olde Town Morrow Road, Morrow. There will be music, bounce house, food and drinks, Santa, and lights.
— The annual Christmas in Lovejoy is Thursday, Dec. 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bobby Cartwright Park, 11596 Hastings Bridge Road, Hampton.
There will be free toys giveaways, free bike and tablet giveaways, free hot chocolate, music, crafts, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, food trucks, and games.
