JONESBORO — The Sisters Empowerment Network, Inc.’s 12th Annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes 5K Walk/Run Against Domestic Violence is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Clayton County International Park, 2300 Highway 138 SE, Jonesboro.
Registration is at 8 a.m., kids fun run is at 9 a.m. and the 5K is at 9:30 a.m.
After the races, a Unity in the Community post-race event will be held.
The event promotes education and awareness to help eradicate domestic violence.
Costs are $30 for adults and $15 for children ages 7 to 12 for the fun run.
