MORROW — Incumbent Khoa Vuong won the Tuesday, Dec. 5 runoff election for the Morrow City County Post 4 seat.
Vuong defeated challenger Oscar Lanza Menjivar 103 votes to 101 to retain his seat.
Vuong received the most votes in the Nov. 7 general election but didn’t receive more than 50%, sending the race into a runoff.
In the November election, Vuong received 331 votes (46.49%) while Menjivar received 205 (28.79%) and Tracy Y. Talbert received 176 (24,72%).
Also in the general election, Morrow Mayor John Lampl received 475 votes (60.59%) while challenger Van Tran received 309 (39.41%).
Hue Nguyen ran unopposed for City Council Post 2 and received 592 votes.
