The Providence Group Provides Essential Items for Women and Children Throughout Atlanta

Members of The Providence Group team came together to collect and distribute essential baby items and period products for the more than 300,000 Metro Atlanta residents who have to choose between food and diapers. Helping Mamas was started when they realized parents were missing work because in order to have their children in daycare they needed certain basic supplies like diapers. Without these supplies, babies were experiencing severe diaper rash infections and women/teen girls were missing a week of work/school a month because of lack of period products they need.   

Helping Mamas works with 150 area school districts, shelters, health departments and other organizations to make sure that no one is left behind because of receiving these basic needs.
