Registration continues through May 26 for a Coding Bootcamp scheduled in June.
The free Coding Bootcamp for local rising 10th to 12th graders is June 5 to 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Clayton State University.
You must be a Clayton County resident, complete an online application, meet HUD income requirements, and provide parents’ W-2s or pay stubs.
Topics covered include problem solving and algorithm development; data types and data representation; software design, testing, and debugging techniques; and writing code using Python programming language.
The class is sponsored by Clayton State, the Clayton County Office of Youth Services, and the Clayton County Officer of Information Technology.
