ATLANTA— The Clayton County Police Department is investigating a Friday evening fatal shooting at a Riverdale Road Family Dollar.
According to the CCPD, the shooting occurred at about 6:55 p.m. at the Family Family at 5425 Riverdale Road, Atlanta.
The CCPD said officers were dispatched to the 5000 block of Riverdale Road about a person fatally shot.
The suspect fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV, the CCPD said.
No other information about the victim was released until next of kin is notified.
The CCPD Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the incident.
