Clayton County Police said Friday that Tremaine Jackson, 23, is currently wanted out of Clayton County for malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of firearm by first offender probationer.
Nicholas Lloyd Price, 20, of 405 Hightower Drive, Fayetteville, is in custody at the Clayton County Jail and is charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

On June 9, 2021 at 9:45 p.m., Clayton County Police officers responded to 5758 Georgia Highway 85, Riverdale, in reference to a home invasion which resulted in the murder of 20-year-old Norman Johnson III, 20.
This investigation lasted a little more than two years but ended with arrest warrants obtained for Price (18 at the time) and Jackson (21 at the time), the CCPD said.
As detectives sifted through several suspects, possible motives, and numerous leads, the Clayton County Police Department said one tip provided by a member of Johnson’s family proved to be fruitful.
This tip placed detectives on the trail of Price, who was a childhood friend and former basketball teammate of Johnson.
After confirming information and examining evidence against Price, detectives then began focusing on individuals he was closely associated with and were able to connect Jackson to the murder.
“Robbery was discovered to be the motive for this heinous act,” the CCPD stated in a press release.
