Lime- the world’s largest shared electric vehicle company is proud to announce Antwan Lang as Sr. Manager of Government Affairs for the Southeast of the United States. Formerly Director of Government and Community Affairs for Atlanta Technical College, Lang has been a trusted and forward-thinking leader in local, state, and federal government for over a decade. In his newly appointed role, Lang will lead Limes southeastern region encompassing Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi, at a time of transformational growth, significant expansion, and record ridership.
As the governmental affairs lead in the southeast for Lime, Lang will be responsible for strategic leadership of the companies’ southeastern markets including major cities such as Atlanta, Charlotte, Charleston, Orlando, Tampa, Birmingham, and many others. He will oversee all communication with municipal leaders and city administrators while maintaining a stable regional presence, reinforcing Limes corporate reputation as the global leader in shared electric vehicles. Lang’s efforts will support Limes mission to build a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free.
Lang will serve as a regional ambassador to the southeast, championing Limes initiatives such as LIME HERO. Lime Hero is Lime’s community empowerment program that allows riders to round up the cost of their trips to support an organization in their city. Through the Lime Hero program Lime has; Partnered with over 65 organizations in over 90 cities globally; Hit over 118,000 Lime Hero Riders; Helped raise over $450,000; and exceeded over 1 million Lime Hero trips. Included in his community and economic development purview are the companies’ collaborative economic initiatives known as LIME ACCESS, which ensures cost will never be a barrier to Lime’s service.
