JONESBORO — The Clayton County District Attorney’s Office, Clayton County Police Department, Hearts To Nourish Hope, and Clayton County Public Schools are teaming up for District Attorney’s Tasha M. Mosley’s Give T.H.A.N.K.S. Food Drive on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tara Stadium, 1055 Battle Creek Road, Jonesboro.
“Incidents of family violence tend to increase during the holiday season,” a statement from the DA’s Office read. “Instead of reacting, the Clayton County District Attorney’s Office, the Cayton County Police Department, Hearts to Nourish Hope, and Clayton County Public Schools encourage you to give T.H.A.N.K.S.”
T.H.A.N.K.S. stands for Take a break, Have patience, Ask for professional help, Never resort to violence, Keep calm, and Stay safe.
This event is for Clayton County residents only ages 18 or older.
