COLLEGE PARK — The Clayton County Police Department announced Monday that a March 15 search warrant netted the confiscation of multiple drugs and weapons.
Four suspects were arrested on the following charges — Violation of Georgia Controlled Substances Act-intent to distribute Schedule 1 controlled substances, VGCSA-intent to distribute Schedule 2 controlled substances, possession of drug-related objects, tampering with evidence, VGCSA-marijuana possession with intent to distribute, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, VGCSA-possession of a Scheduler VI controlled substance and VGCSA-trafficking psilocybin.
One of the suspects was also charged with giving a false name and/or date of birth.
The CCPD said that on March 15, the Narcotics Unit conducted a search warrant in the 5000 block of College Park about illegal drug activity.
Detectives seized 399 grams of marijuana, 15.67 grams of MDMA (ecstasy), 58.91 grams of psilocybin (also known as magic mushrooms), four oxycodone pills three firearms, and miscellaneous drug-related objects.
