FOREST PARK — The City of Forest Park is giving away bottled water starting Tuesday at 9 a.m. to city residents only.
Forest Park residents must show proof of residency to receive a case of water. The giveaway will be held at the Forest Park Recreation Center parking lot at 803 Forest Parkway.
One case per vehicle will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
“Although this may not be a permanent solution to the ongoing water service disruptions being experienced by so many, this event is a part of our ongoing effort to assist the community during times of need,” said Mayor Angelyne Butler.
The boil water advisory remains in effect for all Clayton County Water Authority customers. To report a leak or service outage, call 770-960-5200.
