JONESBORO — Clayton County is looking for residents’ feedback on the Clayton County Comprehensive Plan 2040.
The Clayton County Comprehensive Plan 2040 update requires residents’ feedback for what they think Clayton County should look like over the next 25 years.
Residents can submit their feedback online and/or by attending two upcoming public meetings
Residents can help shape the future for Clayton County and their communities by visiting FutureFocusClayton.com to:
— Submit comments about specific geographic areas on an interactive map.
— Complete a community survey online.
— Learn about public meetings to provide feedback in-person.
A glance at two upcoming public meetings:
— District 4 Public Meeting, Monday, Feb. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lakeview Event Center, 2300 Georgia Highway 138 SE, Jonesboro.
— District 2 Public Meeting, Monday, Feb. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Frank Bailey Senior Center, 6213 Riverdale Road, Riverdale.
“The purpose of each meeting is to gain community feedback so together, we can create a clear picture of Clayton County’s evolution over the next 25 years, “ said Community Development Director Patrick Ejike. “The Community Development Department would like citizens to continue to share their thoughts and ideas about what they would like to see in their communities to create a better Clayton County for all.”
The Future Focus Clayton project is led by the Clayton County Community Development Department, Sizemore Group, and Sycamore Consulting.
