Lensa analysed the US states and several countries based on factors such as the average number of hours worked, estimated commute times, childcare costs and overall happiness of residents to determine the places with the best work-life balance.

The state ranked extremely well for its lower average weekly working hours and its short commute time of just 17 and a half minutes.
