ATLANTA — A Clayton County man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for drug trafficking and firearm offenses.
Jamual Raheem Boyce, 40, of East Point, was convicted of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a domestic violence misdemeanor, possession with intent to distribute meth and cocaine and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.
According to authorities he ran a drug trafficking operations from his home he shared with his girlfriend and her three children.
“Boyce is a violent felon and domestic abuser,” said U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Buchanan. “His prior convictions for aggravated assault, aggravated stalking, aggravated battery, family violence battery, and obstruction of a law enforcement officer speak to his disregard for others and the law.”
The case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods, a program bringing together all levels of law enforcement and the communities they serve to reduce violent crime and gun violence, and to make our neighborhoods safer for everyone.
