JONESBORO — A Clayton County Board of Commissioners Chair candidate forum is scheduled Tuesday, March 26 at 6 p.m. at the Lakeview Event Center, 2300 Georgia Highway 138 SE, Jonesboro.
Candidates in the May 21 Democratic primary include Felicia Franklin Warner (current District 3 commissioner), Alieka Anderson (District 1 commissioner who recently resigned to run for chair), Terry L. Baskin and Geffry Tate. No Republicans are running for the seat.
The Clayton County Youth Commission is hosting the event and moderators include Youth Commission Chair Miatta Harris and Youth Commissioner Jeremy Stephens.
