REX — On Monday at 1: 30 p.m., Clayton County Police officers responded to the 6600th block of Bent Creek Drive, Rex in reference to a missing person.
During the investigation, officers learned that Jariyah Walker was last seen on May 7 at 8 p.m.
Her parents checked her room Monday at 11:44 a.m. and they noticed she was not in her room. She has been diagnosed with a mental illness.
Jariyah Walker has been described as a 16-year-old black female with black hair; brown eyes; 5 feet, 4 inches tall; and weighing 112 pounds.
Her last clothing description is unknown at this time.
