JONESBORO — Clayton County is offering four trash amnesty days throughout April.
Clayton residents will be verified via their current motor vehicle registration. Those with cars registered elsewhere, must show a driver’s license, current property tax or utility bill with the driver’s name and address for proof of residency.
In addition, the Clayton County landfill will also accept items for free on amnesty days only.
Residents will be responsible for unloading at site locations. Assistance is offered at the landfill.
Residents are free to visit any off-site location.
District 1 — 3199 Anvil Block Road in Ellenwood
April 7 from noon to 6 p.m. and April 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
District 2 — 6131 Riverdale Road in Riverdale
April 7 from noon to 6 p.m. and April 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
District 3 — 153 Flint River Road in Riverdale
April 14 from noon to 6 p.mm.
April 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
District 4 — 1303 Government Circle in Jonesboro
April 14 from noon to 6 p.mm.
April 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
