JONESBORO — Per state law, the Clayton County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved early voting sites and dates for 2024 elections.
The early voting dates that were approved during the county commission’s Tuesday Jan. 16 meeting:
Presidential Preference Primary: Feb. 19 to March 9.
General Primary: April 29 to May 17.
General Primary Runoff: To be determined to June 14.
General Election: Oct. 14 to Nov. 1.
General Election Runoff: To be determined to Nov. 17.
Any special election required in 2024: To be determined.
The following sites were approved for early voting locations:
Forest Park Senior Center.
Carl Rhodenizer Recreation Center.
Virginia Burton Gray Recreation Center.
South Clayton Recreation Center.
Clayton County Historic Courthouse (Elections Office.
Lake Spivey Recreation Center.
Sonna Singleton Gregory Senior Center.
Flint River Community Center.
