JONESBORO — The Clayton County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously Oct. 3 to allocate $3 million in ARPA money to support Hearthside Living Faith’s bond financing application for a senior housing facility off Old Dixie Highway.
The county commission is allocating the money through the Clayton County Department of Community Development.
Hearthside’s bond application is through the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.
In August, the county commission unanimously approved an agreement with Hearthside Living Faith for a $3 million bond application.
The facility in the Old Dixie Road is planned as a high-rise, senior, multi-family development.
The proposal is part of Hearthside’s community revitalization plan in the Old Dixie Road area.
The church is at 5880 Old Dixie Highway, north of Morrow Road and south of Sylvia Lane.
