JONESBORO — Clayton County Public Schools is seeking parents and community members to volunteer for the Village on Patrol program.
The Village On Patrol program encourages community members to volunteer and help the Clayton County Public Schools Police Department by observing and listening on their respective campuses to report any potential safety concerns.
Volunteers are tasked with being the eyes and ears of the school to help in reinforcing the school’s established safety measures.
Volunteers must be 21 or older, complete a volunteer application and must complete and pass a criminal background check.
An informational meeting is scheduled Thursday, March 21 at 6 p.m. at the Clayton County Public Schools Administrative Complex, 1098 Fifth Ave., Jonesboro.
