More than 1,500 students from 39 schools participated in the Clayton County Public Schools Fine Arts Department’s recent “Arts in Our Schools” program. The March 19 program at the CCPS Performing Arts Center included the the internationally-known Egun Omode West African drum, dance and severe ensemble. The event also featured real-time painting by Martha Ellen Stilwell students Taylor Moore, a junior, and Beyuti Burrows, a senior.
