MORROW — The Georgia Archives Lunch and Learn program “Georgia’s Music Traditions” is scheduled Friday, Jan. 12 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Georgia Archives, 5800 Jonesboro Road, Morrow.
The program will be presented by Jeremy Powell. It is free, no registration required.

In his presentation, Powell will discuss the history and musicians in Georgia and how they have influenced today’s artists.
Powell is an experienced radio and podcast producer who has spent many years working in Atlanta.
As the host of GPB’s Peach Jam podcast, he develops episodes that transcend genre and boundaries — offering listeners an immersive journey into the lives and sounds of Georgia’s contemporary musicians.
Powell graduated from Darlington School in Rome and is an avid music fan and vinyl record collector.
