A woman from Georgia reportedly returned from a vacation to find a house she owned in Atlanta completely demolished.
Susan Hodgson said she found her longtime family property totaled after a construction company mistakenly tore it down, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
Hodgson was apparently notified about the bizarre accident after receiving a call from a neighbor.

The neighbor reached out to Hodgson and asked her if she had sent someone to tear down the vacant home, The Associated Press (AP) reported.
“I said, ‘No’ and she said, ‘Well, there’s someone over here who just demolished the whole house and tore it all down,’” Hodgson told the AP.
The home has reportedly been boarded up for nearly 15 years, but Hodgson keeps the home covered, the grass cut and the exterior of the home clean.
“The taxes are paid and everything is up on it,” Hodgson told the AP.
