COVINGTON – Twenty-eight women enjoyed the comradery of ladies-only deer hunts at various locations in Georgia this fall season. Artemis Georgia, of Georgia Wildlife Federation, hosted four camps (three donated by private landowners and one on a state managed Wildlife Management Area) welcoming new and returning female hunters into the woods.
Artemis Georgia strives to engage, encourage, and empower women in conservation through hunting, fishing and the shooting sports.
