The city of Brookhaven is holding a public meeting on Thursday, April 11, to review the updated comprehensive plan.
Updated every 10 years according to the city’s charter, the comprehensive plan includes policies and initiatives for character areas, housing diversification, equity, and other planning efforts. Starting in October 2023, the city’s current plan has been under review to reflect priorities on growth and development.

A presentation will be made at the Brookhaven Planning Commission on Wednesday, May 1, and city council meeting on Tuesday, May 14. The plan is then submitted the State of Georgia Department of Community Affairs and Atlanta Regional Commission for state and regional review.
