JONESBORO — The Third Annual “Family Matters” Car and Bike Back-to-School Festival is set for Sunday, July 30, marking the last Sunday of the summer season.
The event will be held at Lee Street Park, 73 Lee St., from 4 to 9 p.m.
The event will feature back-to-school giveaways; a car and bike show with Tru Ryders Motorcycle Club and Black Panther Convertibles participating; live entertainment with music, performances, and activities; community resources from various organizations and agencies; and food and beverages.
“The ‘Family Matters’ Festival is an opportunity for our village to come together, fellowship, celebrate, and support our young scholars. We believe that providing essential school supplies will help empower our students to succeed academically, and the festivities will create lasting memories for families as we conclude this summer season,” said Jonesboro City Council member Alfred Dixon.
