Hampton Mayor Ann Tarpley said a candlelight vigil for the victims is scheduled Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Terry Jones Depot Park.

Gunfire was subsequently exchanged, leaving Longmore fatally wounded.
“The monster’s dead,” Scandrett said. “The citizens of Hampton and the county of Henry, metro Atlanta area, and the entire state of Georgia can breathe a little easy tonight that this suspect is off the street.”
