Swinerton, a leading general contractor with offices across the country, announces the appointment of Shelly Schwerzler as Business Development Market Lead for Swinerton’s Atlanta Division in response to the company’s significant growth. The Atlanta division expects to finish 2023 with over $150 million in revenue, representing approximately 130% year-over-year growth. In this position, Schwerzler plays an instrumental role in maintaining and enhancing the division’s upward trajectory.
“Previously, our executive team shared the responsibility of bringing in new business. But our growth now calls for a more efficient, consistent and intentional approach to meet our objectives – but, most importantly, the needs of our clients and partners,” explains Derek Mosiman, vice president, division manager, Swinerton Atlanta. The Atlanta division finished 2022 topping $64 million in revenue compared to $68 million in 2021 for the combined Carolinas and Atlanta divisions.

She has a real knack for learning what makes them tick and their priorities – a skill that will serve her well in developing new relationships within this market,” adds Mosiman. As business development director, Schwerzler is responsible for raising brand awareness, driving new business opportunities, building a network of influencers and referral sources and supporting Swinerton’s leadership in meeting the division’s growth goals.
