JONESBORO — Middle school science fair students were recognized by the Rotary Club of Lake Spivey/Clayton County during the organization’s March meeting.
Students honored were those selected to represent the region at the Georgia Science & Engineering Fair in Athens.
Annually, thousands of students compete in local science fairs across Georgia. Top projects from each region are invited to attend at compete at the GSEF.
During the club meeting students presented their projects accompanied by a brief description. In recognition of their achievement Rotary members presented each student a $50 cash award and certificate of recognition.
