JONESBORO — During its Tuesday, April 2 meeting, the Clayton County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the purchase of three ambulances for Clayton County Fire and Emergency Services.
The $934,176 contract is with Ten 8 Fire & Safety LLC, in Bradenton, Fla.
In other action at the April 2 meeting, the County Commission also approved:
♦ A resolution authorizing the county to apply for a grant of up to $750,000 from the 2023-24 Juvenile Justice Incentive Grant Program.
♦ An authorization for the Behavioral Health Accountability Court to apply for a $187,988 grant with a $28,198 match to support operations of the Court.
♦ An authorization for Clayton County to apply for a grant from Council of Accountability Court Judges to enhance the Clayton County Veterans Treatment Court. The grant is up to $180,465 with a required 15% match.
♦ A $152,659.13 contract with C.W. Matthews Contracting Co. Inc., in Marietta, for paving streets on Forest Park. Funding is through 2015 SPLOST money.
♦ An $80,000 contract with Canyon Solutions for JCATS E-Filing Product for Clayton County Superior Court.
♦ An authorization for DUI Court and Drug Court to apply for a grant of up to $43,873.99 with a $6,581.11 match to cover salaries for support of DUI Court.
♦ An authorization for DUI Court to apply for a grant of up to $9,231 with a $1,385 match.
The grant would allow core team members to attend the Council of Accountability Court Judges conferences in 2024.
♦ An authorization for the Behavioral Health Accountability Court to apply for emergency funding from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council for up to $3,242 and a local match of $442 for additional drug testing supplies.
♦ A contract extension with Freestyle Productions LLC for concert promotion services.
♦ A contract with Operation 21 LLC, in Cumming, for the deferred prosecution…
