Fifty years ago, Atlanta Braves legend Hank Aaron slugged his way into the history books. The future Major League Baseball Hall of Fame hit his 715th home run on April 8, 1974, breaking Babe Ruth’s longtime record.

Russo sat down with GPB to share how he came face-to-face on the field with “Hammerin’ Hank” — and netted two game-used gems from the baseball diamond.
