MACON – A Valdosta resident who was serving a federal prison sentence for drug trafficking and gun convictions when he illegally obtained money from a pandemic unemployment program has been sentenced to prison for his crime.
Isaac Camon, 49, of Valdosta, was sentenced to serve 36 months in prison for one count of wire fraud plus 36 months in prison for revocation of his supervised release for a total of 72 months in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release by U.S. District Judge Tilman E. “Tripp” Self III. The defendant is not eligible for parole.
