If you can’t make it to Savannah or Chicago for the big St. Patrick’s Day festivities, you’ll have plenty of options right here in metro Atlanta. Here are some of our suggestions:
Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade
The 140th annual parade is Atlanta’s longest-running event and will take place this year on Saturday, March 16, from noon to 1:30 p.m. along Peachtree Street in Midtown. More than 2,000 dancers, musicians, animals, and Irish and local dignitaries are expected to march this year. The route is from 15th to 5th Streets along Peachtree, so come out early to get a good viewing spot. The parade will be held rain or shine. Visit www.atlantastpats.com for more information.
St. Patrick’s Shamrocks & Shenanigans
Guests can immerse themselves in all things green at Live! at The Battery Atlanta for Shamrocks & Shenanigans on Saturday, March 16, and Sunday, March 17. There will be signature drinks, green beer, live music, and fun all weekend long. Tickets are available here.
Shamrock’s N Hops
The Atlanta Professional Firefighters Foundation has announced Shamrock’s N Hops, a special Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade after-party at Wild Heaven West End. There will be holiday drinks, live music, food, activities, a Cornhole tournament, kids activities, and a raffle for exciting prizes. Tickets are available here.
