JONESBORO — During its work session Monday, Feb. 26, the Clayton County Board of Education approved textbook purchases for various subjects.
The subjects and costs include:
— English Language Arts Intervention (elementary): More than $3.02 million.
— English Language Arts Intervention (secondary): More than $6.46 million.
— English to Speakers of Other Languages: More than $1.65 million.
— Science (kindergarten to 12th grade): More than $14.94 million.
— World Languages (kindergarten to 12th grade): More than $1.89 million.
All the textbook purchases are five-year adoptions.
