JONESBORO — Clayton County police are investigating a shooting that left one person in critical condition.
Police officials stated they found the victim inside a vehicle on Kendrick Road with multiple gunshot wounds Feb. 19.
The preliminary investigation revealed an argument had taken place between the victim and the shooter, who left before police arrived.
“The investigation is still in the preliminary stages,” officials with the department said. “Clayton County police detectives are actively working this case.”
