MCDONOUGH — Connecting Henry, in partnership with the Clayton County Community Services Authority, will host a Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program Feb. 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Keys Ferry Road, McDonough.
This program is open to Clayton, Henry and Fayette County residents seeking help for a heating, gas or electric bill.
Eligible residents will need to bring printed copies of the following items:
♦ Social Security cards foe all household members.
♦ Current gas and electric bill.
♦ Proof of income for all adults 18 years and older.
Qualifying households will receive a one-time payment on their utility bill while funding is available. Allow for eight to 10 weeks for processing.
