JONESBORO — The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office said a murder suspect wanted in a Friday shooting in the city of Jonesboro was arrested later that evening.
According to a CCSO Nixle alert, Contrez Price, 22, was arrested Friday evening at the Hunter Ridge mobile home park, 696 Tara Road, Jonesboro.
The CCSO said the shooting happened at around noon in the city of Jonesboro.
Immediately after the shooting, Jonesboro Police Chief Chris Cato, Clayton County Kevin Roberts, and Clayton County Sheriff Levon Allen deployed units to look for Price, the CCSO said.
