Family caregivers could soon get a bigger tax break on caregiving-related expenses under new legislation filed by state Rep. Sam Park, D-Lawrenceville.
Park introduced the Family Caregiver Tax Credit Act on Monday. The bill the cap on tax credits that family caregivers are eligible to receive on caregiving expenses would increase more than sixfold while also increasing the age range for family members who receive qualifying care and expand the definition of qualifying expenses.
