COLUMBUS – A Columbus resident and member of the Zohannon criminal street gang has pleaded guilty to forcibly assaulting a federal agent as law enforcement attempted to take him into custody.
Christopher Upshaw, aka “Trouble,” 25, pleaded guilty to one count of forcible assault on a federal officer with a deadly weapon before U.S. District Judge Clay Land. Upshaw faces a maximum of 20 years in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release and a $250,000 fine. Upshaw is not eligible for parole.
