During a Clayton County Board of Commissioners meeting earlier in January, a $58,768.31 check was presented from the 2023 Holes for Heroes Public Safety Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the second annual event go to men and women who work in Clayton County public safety agencies. The tournament had 96 players and more than 200 county leaders, employees, residents and public safety workers attended the event at Lake Spivey Golf Court. “I am thrilled that we were able to raise $58,768.31 for the brave Clayton County public safety departments, “ said District 1 Commissioner Alieka Anderson. “I am grateful to everyone that participated, our generous volunteers, and all of the Clayton County Government employees that supported this important event.”
