People may not think of sports betting as a major issue for the state of Georgia, but state Reps. Dewey McClain and Soo Hong told Gwinnett business leaders this past week that it may end up being a key issue during the 2024 legislative session.
McClain and Hong gave a legislative update to the Gwinnett Chamber during the group’s monthly On Topic luncheon on Wednesday at the Hilton Atlanta Northeast in Peachtree Corners. It was an opportunities for the legislators, one Democrat and one Republican, to share their views on what will likely be the issues to watch in the Georgia General Assembly this week.
