Ahead of this year’s legislative session, the Gwinnett Chamber released its 2024 Public Policy Agenda. Gwinnett Chamber board of directors adopted the agenda in November. Spearheaded by the chamber’s public policy advisory committee, the agenda consists of chamber positions on public policy issues that impact business at the federal, state, and local levels.
“The Gwinnett Chamber will continue to be the leading voice for business in Gwinnett,” said Trey Ragsdale, 2023 Vice Chair of the Public Policy Advisory Committee and Public Affairs with Kaiser Permanente. “We look forward to working with our elected officials to ensure Georgia’s business climate remains best-in-class.”
Among this year’s most notable inclusions are the support for a fair and stable legal climate for business and an emphasis on protecting tax credits that drive innovation, boost investments in research and development, and create jobs.
