JONESBORO — The Clayton County Tax Commissioner’s Office is gearing up for its Third Annual Coats for Christmas Drive on Dec. 20 and donations are being accepted through Dec 18.
At last year’s event, 250 coats were given away and the goal is to triple that number this year.
You can donate new coats — with tags on them — or you can can donate money through Monday, Dec. 18.
Make all monetary donations to the Clayton County Tax Commissioner.
The distribution event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.m Wednesday, Dec. 20 at the Clayton County Tax Commissioner’s Officer, 121 S. McDonough St., Jonesboro.
There will be goodies, hot chocolate, food, a dee jay, and more.
