JONESBORO — The Clayton County Central Services Department has been awarded the 2023 Annual Achievement of Excellence in Procurement from the National Procurement Institute, Inc.
The AEP Award is earned by agencies that demonstrate a commitment to procurement excellence. This annual program recognizes procurement organizations that embrace innovation, professionalism, productivity,leadership, and e-procurement.
The AEP program encourages the development of excellence as well as continued organizational improvement to earn the award annually.
For 2023, there were 194 successful applicants including 67 cities, 44 counties, 25 special districts, 17 higher education agencies, five state or provincial agencies, and 10 others.
“I am ecstatic to announce that the Clayton County Central Services Department has received such an amazing award in recognition for our work” said Chief Procurement Officer Carol Rogers. “Our department will continue to strive for excellence and provide the best for Clayton County, its residents, and employees.”
