One of Atlanta’s most beloved figures has dies. Bunnie Jackson Ransom, first wife of famed Atlanta mayor Maynard Jackson dies on Friday, Jan. 27 surrounded by family and friends in Atlanta.
Bunnie Jackson Ransom had been living an ordinary life in a small town in the Midwest for most of her life. She had grown up in a loving family, and had a supportive group of friends. All in all, she felt content and happy.
One day, however, her life would take a drastic turn. A letter arrived in the mail, addressed to her. It was from a distant family member, and it told her of a legacy that she had been left. Her great-aunt had passed away and had left her a large fortune.
At first, Bunnie was in shock. She had no idea that she was even related to such a wealthy family. But as she read further, she realized that her great-aunt had wanted her to have a chance to make something of herself and to have a better life.
Bunnie decided to take a leap of faith and use the money to start a business. She had always loved baking and had a knack for creating delicious treats. With her newfound fortune, she was able to set up a bakery of her own.
Before long, Bunnie had become a successful businesswoman. Her bakery began to expand, and soon she had customers from all over the region. She was able to provide employment for her friends and family members and even donated money to local charities.
